Dhanpat Rai Shrivastava

Top 5 Indian Writers: 31st July 1880 – 8th October 1936, better known by his pen name Munshi Premchand, was an Indian writer famous for his modern Hindustani literature. He wrote many Hindi novels, stories, and plays. Godaan upanyas (The Gift of a Cow, 1936), Premchand’s last completed work, is generally accepted as his best novel and is considered as one of the finest Hindi novels.

Five of Chetan Bhagat’s novels have been adapted into Bollywood films. Bhagat considers writing to be a flexible career which “you can do… anywhere” He accepts the fact that his personal life suffers at times because of his professional commitments.
But he continued to write and his job in the bank. Bhagat is often invited to speak at various institutes and organizations in India and abroad. He is also active on social media. He also writes op-ed columns for English and Hindi newspapers, including The GuardianThe Times of India and Dainik Bhaskar, focusing on youth, career, leadership, political issues, and current affairs. He also got many awards for his writings.

 
Rabindranath Tagore

Top 5 Indian Writers: Now let’s talk about another famous Bengali writer, poet, and music composer. Whose one of the poetry we sing as our National anthem, yes you are right I am talking about “Rabindranath Tagore” He was known as Gurudev, He reshaped Bengali literature and music, as well as Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was the first Indian to receive a Nobel prize. Fifteen laureates were awarded in 2019, for achievements that have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind.

He also established a University in Calcutta named “Shanti Niketan” where he breathed last. This is still very famous.
