He was born to Dr. KK Singh and Usha Singh, on the twenty-first January in 1986. He was born in his ancestral home in Patna, Bihar. Rajput was a scholar he was good at studies and scored the seventh rank in the AIEEE. He then did his mechanical engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
He then did not stop there, to pursue his fondness of acting he started taking dancing class at Shaimak Davar’s. Where he met some friends who were taking acting classes in Barry Jhon’s drama class and joined acting classes too. Within some weeks of joining the dance classes, he was selected in Shaimak Davar’s Dance troupe. And did a performance as a background dancer in the fifty-first Filmfare awards. He got his debut with the star plus’s romanitic soap opera “Kis Desh Me Hai Mera Dil”. And later working in the Zee TV’s popular “Pavitra Rishta”.
A Loss to Bolly Fraternity: Finally, the time came when he debuted for the big screen with Kai Po Che. Which received him a nomination for best male debutant. And later doing great in movies like “Shuddh Desi Romance, “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story”, “Chhichhore” and “Kedarnath”. He was nominated many times for his acting.
He was signed to promote Women Enterpenuership Platform,(WEP) by the NITI ayog the think tank of the indian government. And he also led hi own campaign named “Shushant4Education”.
